Hi Everyone! My name is Willy and I am looking for my happy every after!

Things started out rough for me, i was hit by a car and my front leg was broken pretty badly.  Some nice people took me to the Dogtor and they said they had to remove my leg which sounds scary, but i feel so much better now! Some people have said i look like a Leonburger mix, but my foster dad says I have the personality of a Golden Retriever.  All i know is that i LOVE people. And other dogs.  I want to play with ALLLLL the dogs! I have never met a cat, but I can’t imagine anything I wouldn’t love (I did see a “deer” at my foster house and found my big dog bark)

I get along really well on three legs, but a house with not a lot of stairs would be best for me (I can do one or two, but that’s about it).  I have a lot of puppy energy, but when my foster sister doesn’t want to play with me i respect her and find something else to occupy me.  My favorite kind of walk is a short one, or a romp in the yard.  If i get tired I will lay down to rest until I’m ready to go again (they say it’s important to pace yourself!)

I know to potty outside, and will stand by the door when i have to go. My foster mom is teaching me about the bells that my sister rings when she wants to go out, and they say i will catch on – i already know sit and stay, and that “no” means I’m probably chewing on something that isn’t mine.

All the people say I am a really good boy and my furever family will be so lucky to have me. Are YOU my furever family?
