Toby came to us and was all set to be adopted when we discovered he has severe hip dysplasia. After consulting with a surgeon, we learned that it is not bad enough to need surgery at this point, however he will need ongoing medications and will likely need more treatments in the future. As part of our commitment to him, we have elected to keep him in rescue so that he will always get what he needs to manage his condition.
