Sasha may be the sweetest little girl in the world with her humans, and her favorite activities include giving hugs, getting belly rubs, and running joyful circles whenever she is excited to be around her people. This adorable little muffin really has two main settings, napping happily at your feet and going full speed, so a home with a yard or an active family is a must for her. She absolutely loves people, including kids, and is incredibly affectionate, often showing her love through enthusiastic hugs and endless requests for belly rubs. Sasha currently lives with a dog and enjoys playing with her foster brother, so living with another dog is very workable for her, though she will need an adjustment period and continued guidance if she moves into a home with another canine companion. When she sees other dogs, especially in passing or through a fence, Sasha can be vocal and is still learning how to better regulate her excitement and contain herself, and she may “talk” to neighboring dogs while she continues working on these skills. Because of this, she would do best with adopters who understand dog communication and are willing to help her navigate her big feelings around other dogs. We suspect she could do well with a dog savvy cat, though this has not been confirmed. Sasha does pretty well on a leash and continues to improve, though she can still get distracted by interesting smells and sights, and she shows progress every day with consistency and patience.
