Potato faced a tough challenge at just 7 weeks old – he had a fractured pelvis. Fortunately with the right care, he has completely recovered from this and is ready for his happy ever after!
Potato is a high energy puppy – he loves to play chase with his foster siblings and to chase sticks and balls in the yard. His latest adventure is learning to walk nicely on a leash, but the world is full of fun smells and places to explore! He is super smart and thrives on positive reinforcement training – he learned “sit” in under a day, and is quickly learning his other cues as well.
His current favorite toys are his foster mom’s shoes and cardboard boxes. In typical puppy fashion, if he can get to it, it’s fair game to be a toy for him.
Potato would do best in a home with another playful dog that he can romp with and wrestle. Because he is very deep in the puppy chewing phase, we recommend kids over 10
