Meet sweet Serendipity!  She is on medical hold until March when we have a recheck on abdominal area to see if the tumors are back.

This sweet girl was found wandering the streets in Las Cruses, NM with a very obvious tumor.  When the shelter contacted us about her, we scooped her up and rushed to to Colorado so she could get the medical care that she needed!  Our vet discovered that she actually had 2 tumors, one of which was being fed by a rather large blood vessel.  Our amazing vet got the tumors removed and the vessel tied off.  We received the results of the tumors, and neither one came back as cancerous!

Serendipity loves her people – she will sit on your feel or lap and just soak up all the love you can give her.  She gets along with dogs, and watches cats, but doesn’t show any aggression towards them. She has not been around kids, but would likely do well in a home with older kids.  Her foster is working with her on gaining some weight.

She does well on a leash, but isn’t a big fan of stairs, probably because she hasn’t seen a lot of them.  If you think you might be this girl’s happy ever after, fill out an application!
